At Travel Associates, we specialise in bespoke itineraries designed to suit your exact needs. Here, we showcase an incredible trip one of our travel advisors put together for a client, to give an insight into the unforgettable holidays we can create.
Ken Higgins from Travel Associates Mosman, created a personalised itinerary for his client who wanted to celebrate her daughter's Year 12 graduation in a unique way.
The Challenge
1. The client wanted a mother/daughter schoolies trip with a difference to celebrate her daughter’s Year 12 graduation.
2. Must-haves included Disneyland Paris and a Reindeer Safari in Lapland.
3. It all had to fit into five weeks so they could be home in time for Christmas.
The Itinerary
Paris & Disneyland
I booked my client's return business class flights to start their Paris and Scandinavia adventure off in style. In Paris, I arranged two nights in the heart of the city and three nights at Disneyland Paris, as it was the only Disney resort her daughter had not yet visited.

St Petersburg
Next my clients flew to Helsinki for an independent visa-free St Petersburg tour. This included return overnight ferries, transfers and two nights in St Petersburg with a Panoramic City Tour and a visit to the Hermitage Museum as well as free time to explore as they chose.

Norway
Next stop was Oslo for a couple of nights before setting off on a fabulous Norway in a Nutshell tour. Travelling by train via Flam and Voss to Bergen, this journey showcases the country’s spectacular scenery. However, no trip to Norway is complete without a Hurtigruten coastal cruise to witness the stunning fjords, so we added a 6-night expedition cruise to Kirkenes where they spent a night and enjoyed a King Crab Safari.

Arctic Experiences
That was the first of many great Arctic experiences, which also included Aurora Hunting and a Husky Experience in Inari and a Snowmobile and Ice Fishing tour in Saariselka, where they spent two nights in the glass-roofed Northern Lights Village.

My clients then spent three nights at the Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi and enjoyed a Reindeer Safari complete with memorable sleigh ride.
