Adelaide Fringe Festival
Adelaide Fringe is the party that defines this city. It is the largest open-access festival in the southern hemisphere, bursting at the seams with local, interstate and international five-star acts that transform the state for 31 wonderful days and balmy nights.
The Adelaide Fringe Festival is the world’s second largest and in 2019, there were 1326 registered shows playing in 500 venues scattered around South Australia. Whether you’re a cabaret connoisseur, comedy king or queen, theatre lover or just want to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for you at Adelaide Fringe.

Adelaide has a proud musical heritage and is Australia’s only designated UNESCO City of Music. The most prestigious event in the city’s musical calendar is WOMADelaide, a four-day festival of Music, Arts and Dance. Every year, around 500 artists from 30+ countries flock to perform at this iconic open-air festival set in Adelaide’s stunning Botanic Park.
