Back down at sea level, she also recalls the thrill of kayaking through New Zealand’s Milford Sound with a dolphin for company, experiencing a live volcanic eruption on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, enjoying a romantic gondola ride in Venice and relaxing in a glass-floored over-water bungalow in Tahiti.
