On a trip to South Africa with her husband, they drove out Pilanesberg National Park. They camped overnight before getting up early to go wildlife spotting. “We came across a male elephant,” Nicole recalls. “He was in musk and tried to charge our car. We tried to get away but our car got stuck in a rut in the road and we couldn’t move!” Nicole says they were lucky to escape unharmed.
It’s not Nicole’s only incredible travel tale. Having visited more than 30 countries, she’s got several special stories to share. Like the time she enjoyed a 6-course meal at the famous Fairview Restaurant at Chateau Lake Louise. She watched as beautiful snowflakes fell gently outside the grand picture windows. “Canada in winter is just magical,” Nicole says. “Everyone must experience a white Christmas at least once in their lives.”
