She has also lived and worked as a tour guide in Canada and Alaska as well as the UK and Europe. Liz’s knowledge of these areas is unsurpassed, allowing her to tailor amazing itineraries that meet your every expectation.
Having travelled so widely, you’d think it would be hard to choose a favourite travel destination, but this is not the case. “That’s easy”, she says. “Antarctica. Wow, just wow, Penguins, Glaciers, Whales what more could you ask for?”
But her single best memory is slightly further north, in Peru. “Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was the most amazing experience, the views along the trail are breathtaking, but pale in comparison to your first sight of the ancient city”.
Liz is also a mine of useful travel advice. These gems include a suggestion to wear flat shoes in Las Vegas.
“Wandering up and down the famous strip you can walk up to five kilometres in a single night”. She also has a hot tip on how to avoid queues at Disneyland. “Head straight to the rear left hand side of the park. There will be no queues for the rides for the first hour or two, as most people start at the front left or right hand side”
When asked what she loves about her role as a travel advisor, Liz says “seeing a client walk in with an idea and walk out with a plan and full of excitement is a win every day”.
Testimonials
I have been booking my travel with Liz for approximately 15 years now. Even when she moved about 30 minutes away from me, I would still travel to receive her experience, knowledge and efficiency.
I have booked about 10 overseas trips with Liz now - her experience and recommendations are second to none. She knows the types of airlines, hotels and attractions we would like, and plans our trips to perfection. Her true value was when we urgently had to change our plans due to an illness in the family; Liz had us all sorted and flying home within three hours of the call.
