Lisa went on to work for Contiki in Europe, firstly in France and Amsterdam, before taking on the role of tour manager on their stunning Greek Island cruises. To say that she is well versed on experiences in these regions would be a vast understatement: if Europe is on your list, Lisa is your girl. She loves working with her clients to create bespoke European itineraries, the more complicated the better, it is where she thrives.
Having spent so much time hopping between Greek Islands, Lisa’s hot tip is to enjoy one of Santorini’s famous sunsets. She says that they are best viewed from Oia, “but don’t leave until well after the sun has set - that’s when it is at its best”. In busy tourist meccas like these, she also recommends pre-booking the ‘skip the line’ options to sail past others waiting in the queues. It is a huge time saver, and minimises any potential crowd anxiety!
Lisa’s expertise also extends towards the picturesque landscapes of New Zealand. As a born and bred Kiwi, she loves to use her knowledge to help her clients plan trips to her motherland. She enjoys working with her clients to create an incredibly detailed journey, including hidden gems and local secrets. This is something Lisa is incredibly passionate about as it means she gets to share her beautiful country with her clients.
