Jenny says, with so many places to see and not always enough time, the key to a great holiday is to research your destination and plan your days. “It’s the only way to make sure you get the best value out of your holiday,” she says.
Fortunately for you, this is what Jenny loves most, and after working as a Travel Manager for almost 30 years, she’s pretty darn good at it too. “I love spending my days talking to others about their travel aspirations and helping them to realise their dreams,” she says. “The only thing that beats it, is hearing all about their adventures when they return.”
Speaking of adventures, Jenny sure has had a few of her own. On a trip to Iceland, she added on a couple of days in Greenland and says it was one of the most interesting places she has ever been. “It was amazing – the midnight sun, the huskies, the way people live there,” she recalls. “It’s so remote, the scenery there is unrivalled.”
Jenny says another facet of travel she loves is getting up close to wildlife. “When you’re in Canada, try and see the bears,” she suggests. “Whether it be the polar bears of Churchill or the grizzly bears of British Columbia.”
For those more risk-averse, Jenny says you can’t go past the magic of Egypt. “If you love history and architecture, you’ll love Egypt,” she says. “It’s really moving, especially if you can share its mystique with someone special.”
Few people are as well travelled and experienced at coordinating travel as Jenny. If you can secure an appointment with her, your next holiday is already off to a promising start.
