Hiking the Inca Trail surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and bonding with fellow adventurers from different corners of the world left an indelible mark. Living and working in a ski resort in Canada’s Lake Louise, exploring the snow and mountains like a local was another highlight. A solo journey through Europe for seven weeks was another transformative experience as Andrea blended seamlessly into various cities, connecting with locals and fellow travellers. And criss-crossing the world’s oceans on 19 separate voyages, has given her an insider’s ability to craft unforgettable journeys at sea.
“I love having the opportunity to assist my clients in exploring the world. It sounds corny, but I believe travel shapes who we are, and our experiences build us,” she says.
One of Andrea's most remarkable professional achievements was crafting a world trip for a retired gentleman who wanted to sail the world on a sold-out cruise. So, weaving together various cruise lines, she orchestrated a journey from Adelaide to Adelaide via Tokyo, Delhi and Germany. Her client enjoyed river cruises, quality family time in Germany, and even a stopover in Paris for cheese and baguettes, with plenty of special surprises thrown in. When he fell ill in New York, Andrea's dedication shone through. She diligently located him in a Manhattan hospital, contacted his family, and ensured he received the necessary care. Her unwavering commitment and quick thinking saw her grateful client book another five-week adventure after recovering.
“It was five weeks of memorable train journeys, cruise, cars, lodges and many, many laughs.” says Andrea.
