Referral for Good

Travel Associates' way of giving back

Our Referral for Good program is committed to raising important funds for worthwhile charities in need of support. If someone you know is thinking of travelling, simply refer them to your favourite Travel Associates advisor. When they make a booking of $1,250 or more, you’ll be helping raising $100 for one of the following charities.

About the Charities:

R U OK?'s vision is a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. They aim to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and support anyone struggling with life, by enabling and strengthening informal community care. And it can all start by simply asking R U OK?

Every $100 referral gift helps fund campaigns so they can reach more communities, schools and workplaces across Australia, and give them the skills and confidence to ask, "Are you OK?" and have a conversation that could change a life.

Bloom Asia is an Australian-led charity that restores and empowers young Asian women who have been rescued from deeply traumatic situations. Through its cafes and training centres in Cambodia and The Philippines, Bloom is creating community and generational change through vocational education, employment, mentoring and counselling. Bloom has been changing young women’s lives for 10 years. Every graduate leaves Bloom feeling safe, loved and secure—and confident she has the skills to create a better future for her and her family.

Every $100 referral gift enables them us to provide these young women with 5 counselling sessions so that they have a chance to heal from the pain, and rise strong believing that they are part of the next generation of young women who can make a difference in their nation!

Foodbank restores hope to people who are struggling by rescuing and sourcing food and groceries from farmers, manufacturers and retailers and distributing them through front line charities around the country to individuals and families in need. They also help children at school by providing breakfasts to over 132,000 children via 2,000 school breakfast programs nationally. They not only play a lead role in fighting hunger in Australia, but also play a vitally important role in tackling Australia’s $20 billion food waste problem.

Every $100 referral gift enables Foodbank to provide an extra 200 meals to Australians in need.
